I was flipping through some old outlook issues yesterday. Happened to read about this place in Andhra - Timbaktu. A barren land till a few decades ago, this entire region has been rejuvenated now, thanks to the relentless efforts of some awesome people. about two decades ago, they arrived, purchased 32 acres of land, and have worked on converting it into fertile land. They have transformed the whole places by initiating and sustaining a lot of eco friendly measures and encouraging farmers to take up organic farming. The more I read, the more I was amazed.
